New freeskier top rated parks

the top parks listed in the new freeskier are kinda silly.... no keystone, no breck, no mammoth, no pc they are listed in top resorts but no recognition for parks

jsut curious. i got and email saying the october issue is shipped out. is there a september? i havnt gotton that one yet

The reason PC, keystone, mammoth, etc arent rated top parks is because they were already in the top 10 overall resorts in North America. Dont remember all of them but some of them were Boreal, Northstar, Copper, Bear and C.O.P.

it doesnt even rank parks it just talks about copper, boreal, canada olympic park mt tremblant, bear, northstar, the canyons, winter park, summit at snoqualmie and whaleback and thats all of them

The thing about alot of those is that the pros ski them after there closed when they build super sick features for videos and stuff. I think the voting should be based on what we can all ski. Maybe they will do something like a actual ratting in the next issue.

summit at snoqualmie, hahaha. thats really funny, because snoqualmie never built a jump over say 40ft all season, the pipe was cut maybe once a week maybe. less the half of the jibs rails were ever set up and they were all set up supper retarted, all streetstyle, with the lips right up next to and lower then the rails, even on the flat boxes, and up boxes. and rails that were ment to be spun onto. Not to mention the guy that runs it all hates skiers, and there are no events for skiers.

Even the stuff they built for MSP was week as fuck. supper small jump (apparently at MSP's request) and it was in bad shape too.

Haha, yeah, no kidding.

COP has one of the best pipes in the world, but that's about all. All of their rails are super steep street style down bars or set up really ghetto. The jumps are Ok but nothing like you see in the movies.

hahaha i know, i had the exact same reaction! i ski cop pretty much every day and it is no where near a top park! it has a good pipe, but not very big jumps and poorly set up rails!!!

It seems like they just wanted to expose some other parks that were sick other than the ones that everyone knows about. They didn't have them listed in a top 10 or anything, they just listed them. Definitely not the best parks, but good parks for sure.

Please dont rip on me....

But maybe we should put out a poll/From type thing, that we all rate on our favorite mountains...kinda like the transworld one...cause noone knows better than we do, the park skiers...

just my opinion

did you get the buyers guide?because that would be september.

and did anyone notice that on the east coast page, there is a picture of Matt Walker at Mountain Creek with one supsect and one Dumont ski?

i dont see why you bitch about snoqualmie all the time. yeah krush is a d-bag, but the park is good. no one else seems to have a problem with it

yeah and to add to this, its super, not supper, supper is between breakfast and dinner, jesus even spell check cant save some kids

idk know if u ever saw but idk if it was over 40 ft but there was a huge one the last few days of the season prob for some pros summer shots or somthing

comes in the middle of the month for me, i just renewed my subscription and it said ull receive ur next issue in 4 to 6 weeks. so u might have to wait untill novembers issue

steven's park is about 10 times better than snoqualmie's
snoqualmie had like 5 jumps in the real park and 2 of them were tiny, barely big enough to five.
steven's park had something like 4 huge jumps that went up to 80 or so feet in a very good line
and like 15 other ones too.
i will concede that snoqualmie has the edge in terms of jibs though.

but i was happy to see that that gap jump they built at snoqualmie was in freeskier with pk hunder hitting it!

that 'huge' jump was smaller then some of the stuff that stevens had up for most of the season. Also as I remember it was a photo shoot only jump. Stevens built a smiler style jump for rage at the end of the season, only you could have fit the whole snoqualmie jump in the gap of the stevens jump.

And Doug other people don't complain about the snoqualmie park for two reasons a) they stick to stevens because it is way better. b) they, like you, don't realize how bad snoqualmies park is since it is the only place they ski/board. I however ski and shoot at both areas, and would really apreciate it if snoqualmie would step it up to their potential, seeing as how stevens is too far to drive too affter or before school.

It seemed like freeskier just wanted to include as many resorts as possible and focus on the "resort" aspect of the ski industy

when, exactly, is loon going to get the recognition that it deserves?

i will once again post this picture...

bahahahahahahahaha i can't believe they even mentioned C.O.P.

only good thing there is the pipe...

Did no one ski Mt. Bachelor's park this year? I had more fun there toward the end of the year than I had a Whistler or Park City. I thought the jumps were groomed to perfection every morning underneath Pinemartin. It was only three jumps but they were sick. Blackcomb was sick too.

sorry but you are wrong.

supper is not between breakfast and dinner.

it goes, breakfast, dinner, supper traditionally.

in america people have thrown out supper and now it is ordered, breakfast, lunch, dinner

avilaaaa rep that..

theyve rly stepped up there park in the past few years.. look out for them this year
