New freeride ski store

Hey, I'm doing research for a entrepreneur project at university, and was wondering how many of you guys would (or would not, and why) want a new freeride ski store in Calgary?

What brands would you want us to carry for clothes/outerwear/skis/etc? Are there any "core" skiing brands that aren't being represented in calgary? Heard of any new up-and-coming companies (eg Prior) in the freeride market?

What are other stores doing poorly or not doing at all (tune-ups, customers service, selection etc) that you would like to see in our shop?

Any other comments you have would be great.

Also, if you live in calgary and there was a new freeride ski store here, would you:

1) Never go there

2) Check it out, but stick with buying from your old shop

3) Buy some stuff there, and some at your old shop

4) Buy most things there

------------------------------

Thanks! Even if you don't live in Calgary, any imput on brands to carry etc would be helpful.

brands for freeriding which would make it a better "specialis" shop rather than your average ski store would be

for skis: Line, Armada, 4FRNT, Ninthward, and other bigger more obvious brands like Rossignol K2 Salomon Volkl Dynastar etc. Also for clothes probably Orage, Siver, Obermyer (not sure about sp. for that one)aswell as other ski/snowboard brands such as bonfire etc.

you should include european brands like:

movement

Zag

which both make sick freeride skis,

Sweet make cool protection and outerware
