New found respect for Tanner

It seems like going through the rehab process/having a good friend (CR) be seriously injured has turned THall around. I didn't notice and "gangsta" crap that usually follows Tanner around during tonight pipe comp. Seems like he has grown up and is actually seeing the sport for what it is, not some fake gangsta style. Even with all of his skill, becuase of his attitude, Tanner used to kinda piss me off. At least now he is starting to grow up.

oh, and same for Dumont...even though he has a rap as a little whiny bitch, i was pretty impressed that he pulled through a aching lower back to lay down a pretty sick run...

that is, as long as he doesnt brag or not be humble in general about his performance
 
T Hall is insane... but the real question is does he smoke weed??? i heard him give a shout out to the "chronic crew" on espn. anyone know anything? cuz if he can do that type of stuff and smoke even more repect.
 
I was about to ppost this, he seemed humbled but still kinda like the old tanner (which is good) but he showed alot of class when he gave props to CR. I think he is better after his crash
 
ya dude he got expelled from WSS for smokin in his car during lucnh. it was a few yeard be4 i went i wish i culd have seen it. and i did notice that tanner has kinda grown up a bit. and did u notice wen he was talkin about his injury and the rehab he enunciated his words he didnt say "aite" and stuff like that. but ya farve and the G-UNIT MOTHER FUCKERS just made me shake my head
 
last year i thought dumont and thall seemed like fuckin clowns...i was impressed with both this year. especially dumont. all it takes is an injury that takes you away from what you love i guess
 
Yeah because he was totally serious; I hear G-Unit is huge over there in France.

Anyway, yeah mad props to Tanner. I was afraid he was going to run halfway up the pipe claiming his run again. His and CR's injuries have definitely made an impact on him.
 
Yah man i totally agree. Tanner didn't really piss me off at all tonight. Usually I am really annoyed/angry with him by the time the Superpipe is over.. This year he seemed pretty much different. A lot more serious... He must have really really wanted Gold.
 
u guys obviously missed him tlkn at the end. i was there and he was still acting gangsta so lets not push it. but u got to respect him for who he his cuz hes got great skill
 
tanner has never been a real "ganster", he says this in Pop Yer Bottlez, he said "people just dont listen"
 
Your an idiot if your talking about the interview afterwards he said he wanted to take his rehab serious and what not and he said he was stoaked a couple times not exactly straight gANGSTA!!
 
im talking about after he won gold at The X games.. when he was like yeahh i got my crew up and here and shit im not talking shit about him because i have the most up respect for him cause he is the best in our sport and is who he is and doesnt care wat people like us say about him.
