About the Double Spacing:

The double spacing is necessary in order to have the "Last post by *cowboy*" feature. If Paul was to remove this feature, we could go back to single spacing. Most of us, however, really like this new feature!! And, the double spacing isnt a big deal at all. In a few days of using the forums, you won't even notice it anymore. No worries!

i really like the last post by feature. because then you know if you should bother reading the thread again after you've posted!

i also like the lists and double spacing.. the only thing i don't like is how squished it looks on my screen.. i guess its liek that for a reason but i think it might look better if the middle section (where all the posts are) was a little wider. but anyways, its great!

i think take out the spacers in the forum, also i lost my donators forum..... and i noticed that there are ALOT of threads missing from the NW regional forum. over all you shouldn't have fucked with the site... thanks a ton.

also when you check something in my threads it doesn't take it off your list. or sent you to the last page posted on. i lost forums and lost posts from the past few months..... cool, so why did we do this again?

i don't understand MyThreads anymore, so it just stays there until you post a gain? so you need to remember who it was that posted last to see if that has changed? and the delete thing is just to not see that thread in there anymore right? i think it should maybe go back to when you post, it goes away, when someone else posts, it appears, and if you visit the thread, it goes away too... the seeing who was there last is great, but it should only be there if its a new posts from when you last viewed the page

i think the additions are good, but will definetly take some getting used to.

I have a recommendation tho.

Whne you actually enter the forum you want and are looking at the posts, I think the old format was better. It looks too confusing now.

in regional forums, the sidebar with all the sponsors appears in the last post and you can reply or anything to the thread. Cool look overall tho

The quotes are limited for a reason. If you want to quote somebody who has posted this really really long thing, you don't want to continue to expand the page that long. Having a simple 150 character quote or whatever is good because it lets you know which post they are referring to, but doesnt restate all of it. Which would be very unnecessary.

Also,

There are a lot of small glitches and things, yes. But you guys have to think about what just happend. There must be MILLIONS of thread and posts. And, he just switched them over to a new layout. It's not like something of this magnitude will go without a few small bugs. If you think about it, everything has gone incredibly smooth so far. In a week or two, all the minor details will be worked out. Just relax for a little and tehy will get fixed.

i think everything is sick except for one thing. i liked how in My Threads when you would click on the thread you're participating in, that it would dissapear till the next time that it was posted in. other than that i think everything is sick.

oh, and i have absolutley no idea how to post pictures in the forum anymore...

you have to use the
tags, and as for the URL, it has to be either with http:// or www., but not both, as far as i can tell.

also, in My Threads, i liked how you used to be able to skip right to the page you wanted to go see by clicking on the page number, cant do that now

soon to be resolved thanks to NoPoles, it will do like previously, when you view, its gone until a new addition to the thread, that already is sweet... and hopefully you will be able to choose which page to view, or just go to the last one...

but NoPoles is dedicated. it will be awesome.
