the forums they showed us in a thread awhile back looked much better than the ones now. I think they need to change the replies/views number, thats confusing to me.

ok better put, O didn't think there was a problem with how the forums where, its ok to recode to make it easyer for the mods or whatever you needed, we went through many with matt. but to change the image of the forums like nopoles did, i think is kind of a slap in the face to what matt built this site to. we didn't need quotes, you didn't need to fuck with the image set up, 'My Threads' is set up fucked up and the original way was much nicer, and tho the spacing reminds me of the old site a little, it was done away with long ago for a reason, it also clutters up the forum list. and who the fuck cares who posted last in every thread. just think they are trying to hard to change things up. just recode to make it easyer but bring back the old image of the forums.

MyThreads is just messed up, the only good feature in the forums so far is seeing who posted last... but its just, i don't know, it s nowhere near as intuitive as before, the new quicklinks are great, but soooooo much is just in shambles, with no easily understandable order.

NoPoles, props dude for the hard work. but somethings didn't need change, and if it was mainly for mods, do the changes for the mods... i don't know, its not as good as i thought it was goping to be, and if there is a subscription comming, i don't know if i'll spend money on a site i don't understand and enjoy anymore...

sorry, JD, but its not little, the whole thing is changed, but really, all i need to not be pissed is a revert for the MyThreads, something i use all the time. just go back to the original please, you end up checking the same thread a million times because it might have changed or whatever. just go back to that. and the image tags too. those were fine. everything else is great.

Anyone who didn't think there was a problem with the old forums, you're wrong.

Remember how you'd log onto newschoolers and get rejected, and have too many connections and stuff like that happening?

Well, the new forums are one step closer to fixing that.

As the site gets busier, things have to change or the server will explode. There's more than twice as many people on the site as there was in October of this year. And there was twice as many people in October as there had been a year before that.

NS is getting crazy.

Paul has done an amazing job doing these forums, as they will make the site survive. The old forums though you all may have loved them would have killed the site.

So let them go, and find all the fun new things of the new forums. Sometimes we just have to let go of things.

I like the new forums. It's so sick to be able to quote people...

get the point they changed the image, and thats what sucks..... you should recode all you want matt use to do it on a regular. i know it helps speed up the site. but there was nothing wrong with the layout/image of the forums, now yes there where a few glitches here and there and a total recode was prob needed but there was no need to change the image of the forums and the set up like nopoles did.

he's the man. i pledge allegiance to NoPoles and i like the changes in the forums. politics on the other hand...

i think the changes are different for sure but deserve a little more time before severe judgement. tho i echo seanPistol, the threads system does boggle the mind at present.

 
yeah, everything is great, but i really dont like the small images. i think it would be cool if you could check a box saying that you wanted the smaller ones in your profile. this way the people with faster internet can get the full size pictures. also, the people with slower internet can still not have to wait for the pictures to load.
