New Forum Idea

Alright so there is a video section on the site, and there are forums. But everyone likes to post their videos up in Ski Gabber too all of a sudden and recently. I'm not sure that its annoying, but its like people are putting there videos in 2 or 3 different places just to get the most attention as possible.

So like NS did with adding a Movie Trailers Forum, do you guys think it might be a good idea to do like a Self-Promotional/Video Forum, to seperate and clean out ski gabber a little?
 
I think videos should just be kept to the video section, thats where they are suppose to be. No point making a forum, if people want to see videos then go to the video section.
 
deffinately, but its hard to control how many videos are linked up in forums, so if there is one made for it, atleast it would keep it in one location in the forums
 
i think it would be really dumb to do that...i think that all videos posted in forums that are already in video section should be immediatly deleted. There is NO need for having videos in the forums wheen there is a VIDEO ssection...leading to more mods?
 
a video forum would have the same problem the movie trailers forum has: nobody checks it. We've still got movie trailer threads in the ski gabber because threads in the movie trailers forum go unnoticed by most NSers.
 
i dont understand where you are going with this? you are contradicting yourself. You say forums get spammed etc.. and your trying to get rid of it. (good stuff) But, do you realise you just created an unneccisary thread in site discussion? Right above this is a 4 page thread on new site suggestions, all you would have to do is post your origional message in that. This would eliminate your thread, allowing more thread space on the first page of site discussion.

sometimes it's nice to have a thread on a video to discuss it, or more likely on NS, argue about it. I think a video forum would be nice...
