i dont know anything about the war, i cant stand how there are so many threads about it now cuz i dont understand any of it and its all this smart stuff and weapon this and that. i think there should be a new forum for 'war talk' cuz i know it prolly wont go away soon... or someone coiuld just explain it all in 'jenny terms' for me :o)

You can't limit the number of war threads, because it's a VERY important subject on which many people have good, informed opinions. It also affects us all, in thousands of different ways. This isn't CNN, we don't need censorship.

okay, saddam is a big mean boy, and kills people for no reason, and he should be removed, but by pacifists way, not by killing iraqi people. it was tried to disarm him in pacifist ways, but for the most part failed. US decided to attack, claiming 'liberty for iraq' and 'safety of the people'. But we know that he wants to reinstate a goverment that will be friendly to him for the OIL baby. Its all about the oil. Other proof its just for da oil: north korea is a WAY bigger menace to the world, yet US will not liberate THIS country, not even for the safety of the people. Coincidence: north korea is a poor country with no worthy natural resources. Next, a lot of countries oppose to war, including France, Germany, Russia and Canada (yay for canada). Feelings of anti-french have been felt round the US, notably by the change of the name 'french' fries to 'liberty' fries in certain restaurants. come on people. 'liberty fries!??!?!'. Thats about it. in simple terms.
