New filming idea for big air events!!!!!!!

position tones of cameras around the jump and then when the skier goes off the jump it pauses half way through the air and then show 360 degrees of the skier.....kinda like the matrix...

how phat would that be....i would watch it no matter what...

Did you watch any of the Xgames? They had that on one of the rails. It was called the axis cam. Never seen it for big air though, that would be tight.

i dont think they did it in the x-games, i know the axis cam and thats nothing like what im thinking....i dontthink....

yeah dude I think that is exactly what your thinking of. it would be kind of impossible to do it with 360 degrees because the skier would hit it.

no it wouldnt be impossible to show 360 degrees of the jump, you would jsut have to have a huge scafolding around the tabel, it would be very exspensive

i think a tight veiw would be like what the motox guys do, the get a big ole crane right where the skiers are their highest, and film from there (like 10-15? feet away), it looks real tight cause the skier like comes really close to the camera, and you see the whole jump, from takeoff to landing

in propaganda, you can see the 8 cameras all on the deck of the q-pipe. they just edit the pics on each, to make it look animated. like in the intro.

the axis cam had that too. 22 cameras, in a semi circleish thing. they put it on one of the rails, and they had in in the q-pipe too. go to www.expn.com, then look for winter x 2002, then the videos.
