yeah woo hoo just sold my 27inch imac last spring model, my old 20 inch imac, my dvx and the century optics fisheye lens that i used with it, just ordered my hvx200p, and my new 15 inch mac book pro :) hahaha

actually hold up heath, how much you looking for yours again? hes not shipping till monday, and i can always revoke the transaction

Have the same setup but with the t2i instead, it's really fun to film with. I really need a good quick release plate to go on top of my Glidecam, if anyone has a good one that won't break the bank I would love reccomendations.

I own two of them and swear by them! make switching from tripod to glidecam to shoulder rig so easy. Now that i'm selling my shoulder rig though I'll probably throw the second on my other tripod

had the quickrelease for 1 week and damn, i never tought switching from glidecam to tripod was so fast, easy and no need to readjust glidecam everytime!!!! for aprox 60$, i would recommend that quick release to everyone!

does the 577 quick release work with the 701 head? I have the cheaper quick release and I was disapointed to find out that it has a different quick release system

got my glidecamsigma 10-20mmrode video mic2 16gig cardsnow just waiting on my manfrotto quick relaseand recently recieved fcp, magic bullet and the full adobe CS5 suite for FREE!
yes i claimed the fuck out of it because its my money and i am proud haha

makes glidecam to tripod switching so fast, I recomend everyone without one buy it, $50 for a huge timesaver is well worth it

everyone has their own opinons. i dont use hddslrs so i dont have anything specific, but i shoot with a boosted saturation in camera (hvx produces beautiful colors in camera) and then i adjust white and black balance in post.

as evan said it's a personal choice, but i shoot flat with my T2i. when I use my HVX I boost colors like evan does because the HVX will give you shots with nice, accurate colors that can still be graded. when i shoot with saturation and contrast boosted in my T2i, the shots get kinda weird looking and are a fucking nightmare to grade. sometimes i also just slightly adjust the colors in camera, like -1 contrast and +2 saturation. so it's not totally flat, gives you nice looking shots, and makes color grading easy.

I'm seriously angry that you have all that stuff.

I started off by buying a D3100 to get into photography, but then 3 weeks in I realized that I much rather would've just saved up and spent the extra 100-200 dollars and gotten a T2i. I'm so limited right now and this camera is holding me back in the filming sector which is what I really want to do now.

Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't you still have to balance the camera on a glidecam since the quick release plate slides fore and aft?
