Hey everyone, I just want to inform you about the largest pro session of the season that is going down at Sunday River from March 30 - April 2, 2002. Join top riders, photographers (Jeff Winterton, Freeskier Magazine), Filmmakers (Josh Berman from Second Generation and Balance) to session the best parks and pipes in the East.

Come rip the 22 foot high quarterpipe, the 22 foot high, 400 foot long 65 foot wide halfpipe, the 50 foot pro jump, the 80 foot showtime booter and the nastiest rails around. Come ride with Andy Woods, Mike Nick, Ben Grunow, Phil Larose, Dave Chrichton and Phil Belanger as well as the rest of the Sunday River Freeride Team. Here are some of the latest pics from the park at the river.

Ooh yeah, just a side note... If any of you are going to be up for it during one of the days, have any questions or anything like that, just reply to this message. It would be sweet to get in some runs with some pros and other ns.com members.

I'll be up there with my friends that thursday for the weekend. Those jumps look perfect, almost like a untouched pow run. They look insane.

why do you call a hexagon a tanker rail?

'Let him go first, he is out of control when he is skiing backwards.'- Stupid Tourist

I was at sunday river last week and it was off the hook..... sick jumps crazy pipe and some chill skiiers.... if I could hit up the showdown I'd be there in a second but its a bit of a drive! lol

you bastards! that park is so fucking nice, and i havent skied for 2 weeks. My hill is closed. Michigan sucks

'He got fired? What did he do?'

'He jumped off of the roof again'

its actually only 1/2 a hexagon, and a is called a trapezoid

That was just so fresh, how you took it out of context like that...Do u have any Titanic Jokes for me?

I was just at Sunday River on Tuesday and Wednesday and they did get a shitload of snow but the Pipe is horrible. The thing is all ice. You would have more luck riding it with some hockey skates. The parks are dope though. Jumps are well taken care of and the rails are nice.

Where did you find it?

I don't know. I was too excited. We're in the Lesbian stronghold

There has been great talk of those pros not even knowing about this event from the sunday river board...and i dont ever remember seeing anyone directly from sunday river saying those pros were coming. However, I do know you work for sunday river in some way, so maybe you know what is really going on.

Also...that '80 footer' has like a 40 foot table...and its normally closed if it not in the 40's...

Oh yeah...I will be up there both saturday and sunday this weekend, and definetely next weekend. I've got last years skogens and duct tape on the tip of one of them...after 4 times using them, the delammed...oh well.

rory will is going i'm preaty sure.

No shit the pipe was in rough shape, it went threw a thaw! The deck on the pro jump can be shifted back to 80 feet. The 80 footer will be created before the showdown, ski patrol would NEVER allow a jump that large.

The pro's do know about it, don't pay attention to the posts in the Sunday River chat room unless they come from myself (OZSkier) or the screne name SundayRiver. The only people in that room that make official statements are ranked ZEN MASTERS...
