New era in skiing?

So over the years skiing has changed dramatically gearwise. freestyle has been taking a new path over the last couple years. and the style right now is pretty much Gangsters, tall tee's , 6xl jackets and what not, but think about it. just 3 or 4 years ago the style was clothes that fit right. now dresses, what do you think it could change to in the next couple years??? just wondering, could a new generation be maybe black 1 peices? maybe even tight clothes.

Well, judging by the previous trends, in a couple of years our shirts should be dragging on the ground. After that the graph should plateau of at around shirts with the length of 5 or 6 feet because of the erosion that will occur on the bottom edge of the shirts, only allowing use of 7+ foot shirts a day or so before they rip and shred until they're back down to normal size.

we only have one.. maybe two years of skiing left until global warming really takes off and melts our snow. there will be hardly any changes until then, so dont worry about it.

so i know i failed at this, but if not look at his helmet and then the thread title.

I know its summer but there's always a new thread about tall tee's. Quit crying and let people wear whatever they want and you wear what you want. I dont see anyone makin fun of other styles just wait the month or two for the snow to drop so we can all be happy

I think reading the post thoroughly next time before complaining might be smart. Just saying. Because he was asking a question not talking about tall tees.
As for the future, just look at what snowboarding is doing now if you want to see our trends. We always seem to follow exactly what they do. I see more diversity though to come. Like more tight fit people, more regular fit people, etc.

STUPID THREAD. The style now isnt huge tall tees and gangster style of riding. Look at jon, jacob, colby west, shiller, ect, ect, all definetly "in" as far as skiing goes but not having a "gangster" style. Skiing is just starting to grow. As skiing grows it expands to different styles, if everyone wore skiiny fitted outerwear it would get boring, just as if everyone wore huge tall tees it would get played. Skiing needs all of these styles of clothing and riding to allow the sport to expand, and give riders a chance to be unique.... which is pretty much was skiing is about..... and fun. just look at snowboarding and how many differnt types of riders there are, this is where skiing is headed.... and its awesome.

Haha even until like halfaw through your post I thought this was gonna be a thread about where skiing is headed as a sport but nooooope, tall tees.

Haha oh fuck. I see my retard mistake. So yes the OP was talking about tall tees (among other trends), but his question was open ended towards what would be the next trend. So just flip around what I said a little and my post will make sense. The one I was quoting still didn't really relate to the thread topic anyways though I agree with what he was saying. Thanks talltreez for being a dick with improper grammar though. NS in the summer...

no, 6XM is next year's fashionable size. So medium, no-one will even notice what clothes you're wearing

i heard about the twin tip skis where you go backwards....

i dont think its really a new era gust change is going on like anything else in the world

in the boot stretch pants, gaters.

Descente aka DNA made or may still make huge over coats for racer and coaches. They look like trench coats. I am actually surprised that peops aren't reppin them. They are super warm, and probably don't restrict movements any more than ultra sag.

seriously? i thought this would be about the sick amount of progression we've seen in recent times...but it's about clothes? what the fuck? this is why everyone thinks skiing is a joke, thanks newschoolers.
