Favorite mountain, run, anythinggive it all you goti just went to Stowe and ran the Kitchen Wall (out of bounds) a bunch of times, it was amazing powder, we had about a foot sunday morninganyone got good glades at suagrbush? im goin there next weekend
 
DUDE FUCK i went to stowe last Saturday right before the dump and did angelfooooooood. Killy Prez Day is gonna be sweet tho man!
 
skiing conditions were perfect this weekendthe longest lift line was about 5 minuites tooit was awesome
im a little worried about the lift lines at sugarbush but whatever ill deal with it

NE skiing is the shit!

Any NSers that are more into freeskiing steeps than the park should hit me up and come rip Magic, I'm there most weekends and know the place like the back of my hand. Lots of steep tree skiing and bumps to rip.

Fuck yeah NE stoke!

hit up sugarloaf this weekend they got a new glade cut thats pretty sick. couple nice little cliff drops in there too! syk.
 
i never skied wildcat but i just hiked Tuckermans yesterday and skied the sherburne trail. i was looking over at wildcat the whole day though and it looks gnarly over there
 
where my bros at haystack? so much fun to hike over from mt snow summit and get all that freshies... so nice. i ski ski sundown in CT the most, but love going up to mt snow.

I think it really adds to the fun, so here's a few pics of my exploits here in the NE. Usually I'm not all about stopping for pics, but it is nice to be able to share the stoke.

Words of truth. SR is good for shredding groomers and the JBowl is fun, but I Maine just can't f with VT's snowpack. The greens are killing it right now.
 
while I agree VT kills it, SR is FAR inferior to the terrain and snow quality of sugarloaf in the mid-late season. HOWEVER, early season SR owns all with there snow making capabilities. Also I find sunday rivers park setups more interesting as far as the features go, but what they make up for in rails and jibs they lack in nice jumps. All their jumps are either too huge or too small, sugarloaf parks caters to the average jump with a nice tabletop and plenty of float.

In conclusions, SR pales in comparison to the loaf, but Jay peak still blows my mind everytime i make it up there.
 
I'm ashamed to admit it... But I've never made it to the 'loaf. I really only do 1 or 2 trips a year to SR because I have a friend who has some sort of timeshare dealio there so we stay at his place and party. I have fun thre, but for all it's size it does tend to get a bit ho-hum and I don't ski park so it's jibtastic features would be completely lost on me. For the type of skiing I do, I would tend to agree with you... but I don't know shit about sugarloaf so yeah, I should get my ass out there at some point.

I went to mount snow once and it was the shit. Have you been to mount southington yet I know it's not big but it's only like an hour from where I live
 
killington this weekendd. Theres always some great unmarked tree runs with knee deep powder there if you know where to look
 
Werd. You do much touring? Not much love for it on here, but most of the best runs on the EC arent at a resort, or have a name that only means something to locals.

For actual, on-the-map trails it's hard to beat Redline @ Magic, Goat @ Stowe and Green Beret @ Jay. MRG is really just one huge fantastic tree run so it's hard to even differentiate between them in terms of radness. I really like steep stuff with mando air and sketchy double fall lines. Trees in it = even better. I can think of runs I like better, but they're either not at a resort or not on the map. I cut several huck runs at magic this year, and am totally stoked on them but they'd mean absolutely nothing if I were to list them here.
 
Just be careful, I forget how we did it but we ended up back on trails. Not sure if you can get stuck down in there or not, might wanna ask someone more familiar with the area.
 
I'd come up to magic if you're willing to share that list haha. I am a partial supporter after all, but have never been there haha.

Huck #1 of 3 in this run. "The diving board" Took almost a month to clear the whole line, and this drop is ~15 feet or so.

Here's another huck in the same overall line. To skier's right of this pic is an open huck, but this is a really cool pillow drop option. ~10 foot span or so.
