hey guys

i was looking at UVM to go to for college and i never picked out any second choice schools

theres a chance i wont get into UVM since its harder to get into than ever, and i slacked off for my freshman and sophomore years

whats a good college in vermont, new hamshire, northern new york, or even southern maine

preferably with a buisness school, and a good party school like UVM would be

Anything in boston has reasonably easy access to the mountains. I go to northeastern University in downtown which has business plus theres BU and BC and god only knows how many others. plus you're in the city which is pimp

Well, in Burlington besides UVM there is also Champlain College and St. Michael's

I'm applying to all 3, along with Bentley College and Babson College, both known as being some of the best business schools in the nation. But they are hard to get into, so if you don't think you could make it into UVM I would look at the other colleges in Burlington.

UVM is getting harder and harder to get into. there are a lot of schools in new hampshire as well (i go to saint anselm college in manchester), UNH, plymouth state (err)...dartmouth haha

uvm is great, i might transfer there. try unh, umass amherst, new england college, university of southern maine, and keene state.

yea any of the schools in boston are cool cuz you are in town or can get in town on the t and like 2 hrs from the mountains...depending where you wanna ski. my lil sis goes to johnson state in vt...its like between stowe and smuggs...and they advertise that they have a park on campus...ive never actually seen it tho. ive heard good things about green mountain college. and plymouth state. one of my friends goes to unh and likes it. i went to a lil school called lasell...its right outside boston...nice lil school...then there is babson down the street...i think they have a good buss program. depends how close you want to be to the mountains.

URI is pretty sick its not in nothern new england, but they have a ski and snowboard club and a surf club that goes out like every day.

how do you like northeastern?

im looking at it and it looks like a pretty fun school... where do you usually ski/how far away is it?

onto lives across the hall from me... we are in the honors program so we have sweet dorms. As for northeastern its hard to go to good parties if you are a freshman and dont rush a frat or dont know someone. Anyways the girls are kinda beat but its boston so you can find hotties. The academics are great here and as for skiing... There is a ski club that takes day trips and some over nights but im just bringing my van up and going on weekend trips to my house in vermont. You will definately be able to find kids to go with. Don't come here to party even though you will do your fair share of drinking and girls.

Well its a city but its really not taht bad cause the campus is so steezy, its nice cause there are so many ski movie premiers and you get a lot free shit. Not to mention concerts and parties at different schools.
