New Eminem Video SOO Funny!

I wanted to like it, I really did. But like Timmi said, his funny voice is just too much. They lyrics were weak, and the whole theme of the video was beat. I felt like I was watching the pink video. The funny asian guy had the best shots. Really I'm more embarrassed for eminimem than anything, clearly he's making fun of himself in the video too, but the hypocritical vibe is so strong. I feel like a piece of shit for even watching a video born from and produced for everything it was trying to make fun of.
 
Meh. I agree with the above, I'm not a fan of his new voice. He has some good lines in there but most of it is pretty shitty.
 
How can hip hop be dead if Wu Tang is forever? But for real that was horrible. I loved his very old stuff there was a lot of anger and realness to his lyrics but now he is boring. Its been the same old stuff for the past 2 or 3 albums.
 
There are still a ton of underground hip hop artist so hip hop never died it just hid underground.

Also I though the video was funny as shit.

Same here. To me, this video was eminem making fun of everyone he can at once to brew some controversy and possibly get some of his fame back.

The song and video both suck.
 
well, this is only like the song hes releasing from his album now, so you can't judge him on the one song he released. I'm sure theres gunna be emotional songs on the rest of the album. But whats wrong with being funny for a song. I mean lighten up a little bit. Its a joke. This isn't gunna be a song you listen to all the time. Maybe it'll get played on the radio, who cares.

And you have to be joking when you see this video and say 'hip hop is dead'. This isn't hip hop. Its pop.

And the beat/production is pretty good too. I think Dre did it. It's good. And eminem has good flow, he hits the kick like every time and stays on the beat unlike EVERY OTHER POPULAR RAPPER OUT THERE right now (ahem lil wayne, you suck dick)

Sure its not true hip hop, but for what it is, i like it. Reminds me of the real slim shady a lot. Way better than that crack a bottle song or ass like that

ooooo shits awesome and just wait i guarentee that there will be plenty of hate and banging ass songs on the new album, but hes gota release a single like that to get as much hype as possible and the medias attention to let everyone know hes back and that he doesnt give a fuck about anybody EM RULES!!!!
 
I kinda disagree with people. Yes it is making fun of people like his old albums, but that's what he's known for. He's always bashed on people in his music. And to the people that complain that he's doing the old stuff, just wait till the album. Songs tend to grow on people after listening to them a lot, but it's a risk to make new stuff, and takes time for it to become accepted. By releasing a SINGLE of his older themes with a new vibe, he's just saying he's back.

Also, his voice control is much better than in his older stuff. If you listen to original, old old Eminem, there's a huge difference. The guy has experience, and it shows.
 
I know I meant eminem more than this specific song though, not that he was the only one.

I think the newest hip hop/rap that I listen to is probably 1999 as in Full clip a decade of gangstarr. Not much of anything is newer other than on a rare occasion when nas has something newer that is listenable

eminem does this once or twice on every album.
makes a joke song, all the rest are serious.

Thaaaank you, I cant believe it. It seems as if some people think that Eminem was trying to be serious in this video!?! Dre and 50 were in it, you think it was meant to be badass with the roles they were playing..if andy sanberg(?) made this video people would suck his dick...the video was funny, get over that one fact!

This is a made for radio/MTV song and video in my mind. All of the best eminem songs in my mine were the ones that were too explcit to have radio/tv time. Has anyone heard any other songs that were leaked? I am kinda hoping to hear some fresh tracks from E.
