i was talking to an elan rep 2 yesterday and he said tehy are coming out with an amazing ski fer this season, anyone know anything about it? now i dont really like elan and i dont the the guy knew the competiton very well but i am thining any other park ski would be beter

ya my friend won a pair at the xgames and he said that he they are pretty good skis if u dont have heavy bindings

 
okay i can't find it, but i demoed the new elan twins at marmot there pretty sweet but theres a weird metal plate in the base

look kinda lame but the do help manufacture armada. so what ever that means

i demo'd there skis this year, they weigh a decent amount, not bad other wise, actually decent

that was trevan eh jeremy and that metal thing is a grind plate and that makes them kind of heavy bu thtey are pretty sick skis

i demoed them and i thought they were actually sick.. my friend is gettin a pair this season.. elan regularly blows but i was blown away with the twintip this year, the metal on the bottom is sick

Armada freeride:

Armada skis will be manufactured in the elan factory this year. they were manufactured in some snowboard factory last year. That is why there were so many problems with the topsheets falling off and delams. Loook for improved quality this year. i don't like elans, but haven't seen too many fall apart, so if they can build the skis to armada's specs then they should be bomber.

 
last years actually looked like a decent park ski. if they gave me a pair i would ride them

I have elan amps.. they got pretty nice pop but they are the most heviest and unstable skis on market :D
