Taking a vacation w/ family right now, a nice spot, although I'm not at home skiing. My cousin is pretty talented on the scooter, a questionably acceptable hobby. Tossed this little edit together I filmed. If someone could embed that'd be the beezkneez.

the riding was sick. the colors seemed a little overblown. idk if u were going for a raw style (with the way it was shot and put together) or not. the 70's arcade game sounds weren't doing it for me. i like the idea but if u added music i would be more inclined to enjoy this. maybe an indie type song to atch the colors?
 
^ I was kind of going for those strange over ramped colors. Just added a different feel, its all personal preference I guess though. Some people like it some don't. bumpskees
 
That was a really creative approach to an edit, playing around more with sound design and using a windscreen would have made that incredible.

On a side note, I'm working on a short film right now and have been searching for that sound you used in the beginning. What is it and where can I find it? Haha help would be much appreciated.
 
Thanks for the input, its just an apple loop do use final cut to edit with or? I'm sure you could find a similar rewind sound online. Just google free sound effect downloads and there are a good handful of websites.

Haha yeah, he just got tired of skating so he tried it. It's kinda weird but kids definitely hate on it a shit ton. Thanks man, bump
 
and oh, forgot to say what i thought when i embedded... anyway i think you nailed it. colors were perfect, the sounds fit the video, i loved the intro and outro text formatting (usually i don't like how people use text in a video)... well done. stoked to see one of your skiing videos...
 
personally wasn't a huge fan of the font but it really does fit the edit very nice and the song as well. the colors were great i thought too
 
Super nice flow, colors were blown out and it seemed to telephoto for me. But I thought the sound design and flow made up for that big time!
