New edit, "GREY"

Yeah unfortunately I agree, it felt very claustrophobic to me. I really hope the 2.35 crop trend ends soon.

I also thought that it was not shot for that ratio.

You also seem to have a lot of trouble keeping the rider in the frame.

Fades were gimmicky and broke the flow.

You had a lot of random filler that didn't work.

Every shot had the same look. Medium-wide focal length glidecam. Try switching it up with tripods and different angles.

Glides weren't very smooth.

Song was meh.

Colors were cool, though the whites were a little too dark

Decently good titling.

^Evan, what do you think of edits shot with the 2:35 ratio in mind? I shoot everything with cropmarks and the intention to crop to cinemascope, does that change anything?

Definitely a different story. It's tough with follow cams, you can film for a crop doing follows but its tough to keep it consistent. I've shot edits with a crop in mind and I only used a tripod/hand held and some of my shots were too close. I think if you're into the crop, go for it but I think its a poor idea for every kid with a cheap dslr to just throw a crop on their edit without even thinking about it.
