New Dr. Dre Single

Nope, already said my first impression was positive just that it may switch, sort of like with kush. I was so pumped to hear dre again, the song quality hardly mattered.
 
I think there is a reason this song is the single.... I look forward to the rest of the album.
 
for sure. Kush was much better imo because it has more a more classic dre feel if that makes sense

Horrible. Eminem has a terrible flow and the worst lyrics. The hook is so poppy and generic that its ridiculous. I can't even believe Dre produced this shit, its so basic and boring and simple. And Dre just dropped the worst time, his voice sounds so out of place on this track, Nicki Minaj would have been a better fit. And lyrically he needs to shut the fuck up, theres been plenty of rappers and producers that have been holding it down since the late 90s they're just not marketable (for the most part). Don't act like Eminem's the only rapper thats still good, he releases pop music and wins Grammys for music that sucks...Rebirth. The rap game has evolved and improved so much, theres no room for a crappy white shock-value rapper and a 45 year old producer/rapper who quite the game and thinks that we give a fuck anymore.
 
the reason it's a single is because the names "Dr. Dre" and "Eminem" are extremely easy to market. people are going to listen to it regardless of its content and think it's good just because of their past success so its pretty much a moneymaker move, and they will make a shit ton of it.
 
i love eminems old stuff, where it would be fun to listen too, his lines were funny and were still solid, now its all serious and i dont really like it to much, i still dig his shit tho. Dr dre used to be thug as hell and now hes always complaining about how no one thinks hes thug anymore. he needs to just rap about murder, rape, booze and guns again hahah
 
after listening, i like the chord progression in the chorus and that's it. Dr. Dre and em sound like shit now...
 
dre is the only redeeming part... still, he shoulda stopped after chronic 2001 no way that detox after how long he has drawn it out will ever live up to chronic and chronic 2001.

And clearly the eminem show was the last thing of any worth done by marshall.
 
While I'm not exactly a fan of the beat or girl singing I feel you are being overly critical of eminem. His flow is fine, almost reminiscent of the marshal mathers LP with the emotion. The "rap game" as represented by the radio has gone down the shitter. Eminem while not the only rapper that is still good, it is refreshing to hear him in this age of frat/techno/auto tuned crap offering something with his own unique sound.
Also this Album has so much hype there is no way it will ever live up, you are expecting too much and being too critical.

Kush was sick.
This song's beat absolutely blows. Eminem blew. His faster raps are what I long for. Dre was at about the same level as Em. I hope this is just a blow over type song that doesn't stick around on the radio. The only thing I like is the heartbeat stopping on the EKG. That is literally it.
 
Yea I fucking hate Eminem. I think he's lame as hell and his lyrics suck, the only redeeming thing about him is that he knows how to rap and he's apparently incredibly marketable. And yea Eminem over frat/techno/autotuned crap for sure, but theres plenty of better rappers out there some of which are mainstream, that term means nothing to me.

And yea this albums going to blow dick because Dre fell off and music has evolved and improved. Its like when Rakim dropped the Seventh Seal in 08 and everyone was like ohhh shit Rakims dropping an album, but it sucked dick because if your out of the game for too long, you fall off. But he'll still get a grammy for it, sell a gazillion records and a bunch of shitty over-priced headphones.
