So im wanting to start up a new company. I want to make a product that appeals to people on Newschoolers because i value your opinions most. I was trying to think of something that isnt out their yet and came up with the idea of making a brand that made tall tees and hoodies. I know that their is alot of hoodies but their not a ski brand that sells a wide range of tall tees. I know that a few people on here would probly like some cool tall tees.But if you have any ideas of products that you think would be good for our industry that theirs not many of or any good ones please tell me and then others vote if you like the idea.thanks

yeah dude you should make extendable tall tees so you dont need to stand around the base lodge stretching it out. maybe you could rig it like a set of venetian blinds.
 
I think either gloves or poles. Gloves where you can tell how warm they are. Or poles with really cool graphics that are cheap.
 
I would make a device that changes what you post into readable, grammically correct, comprehendable, intelligent post.

But that's just me good luck wid da bidness
 
Props to you wanting to help out the ski industry but to be honest if I had a super Idea I wouldn't be posting it to other people on the internet, I'd either be selling the idea or making $$ from it.

 
Hey guys thanks for the ideas there sick keep em coming. And sorry bout the grammar and english but im not the best at it so sorry if it annoys you. Also im asking you guys for ideas cause i want to make something to benifit the NS community because ill be selling them to you guys. I had thought about beanies but don't wanna compete with EC Headwear cause their sick but cheap poles sounds good cause i no i only use them for balance would you guys be interested. Anything you guys think would be good their is no bad ideas.thanks
 
l it seems like everyone and their mother (on ns) has their own startup of some sort. so I would imagine it will be difficult for you to get your foot in the door.. especially since you don't seem to have a solid idea of what you would like to do with a company. Can I ask why you are trying to do this? I think it is cool.. and very ambitious.. but it seems strange that you want to start a company without an idea for a product. Come up with some ideas (this thread helps) for products and show us some prototypes and stuff.. you have to know you will be able to compete in the market before you just start trying to sell.... if you want to make tall tees and hoodies.. then what will make your tall tees and hoodies stand out?? Do you have ideas for graphics.. or a logo? These kind of basics will help make a much better/more successful business......
 
i have found extra tall hoodies at jc penny but not tees and the colors were crappy. it would be cool to get bright colored double tall tees
 
ha who actually uses poles these days, i heard they're just a fad

you should make tall tees with sick designs. like bright colors. like the graphics from last year's AR6's, but on a tall tee
 
you know how they make long sleeve shirts that look like you have a shirt over them, but the sleeves are just atached to the shirt? well you should make a tall tee that makes it look like you have a bigger tall tee under it, but is really just sown on. also ake the botom of the tall tee a different material than cotton, so it doesnt get wet as easy. if this sells, give me a profit, eeehhhh?

question for dudes about tall tee's... doesn't it piss you off when the layer of tall t that sticks out turns into an ice skirt?
 
i think you should make tall tees that are double layered like have one long sleeve tee under a slighty shorter short sleeve tee and have them stiched together and make them different colors.
 
it would be so sick if you have money to invest in to make like a crowbar part store, you would need to like wtach for lenses and parts on here buy them and stuff then sell them and make like a frame rigger combo thats hard to find it would be sick

should def try and get your name out in the Aussie ski industry first, atm there are not so many companies catering to NSers, what i can think of just off the top of my head are 3CS Outerwear, Sinner outerwear, Rojo outerwear (for women) Obsidian Skis, Force Industries, XTM there is no lifestyle/casual clothing segment for Jiberish, Armada, 4frnt, or Line style stuff or bandanas, tall t's etc...
 
Not being negative, but I have a strong feeling that baggy clothing in skiing isn't going to last much longer. It might last forever though, if it does then great, if it doesn't then cool, we're evolving. Anyone else have an idea of how long it will last?
 
^Thats the truth. For some reason we seem to get passed over when this topic comes up. We pioneerd the tall tee and custom jersey in this industry. This year we have full controll over EVERYTHING so shit's gonna get crazy.

P.S- I forgot about our girls tee. Super hot.
 
dont do it, the ski market is already so over-saturated with all these little start up companies that last 2 years, every now and then one will stay strong (EC headwear) but for the most part your just diluting the market
 
Make a tee with a zipper at the bottom, so u can add u own slice('s) of tallness.If u do, send me one for the idea ;)1GL with ur company
 
Make skullcandy icon caps for NS!!

but make sure to buy skiers off their respective teams so you can be "core".

 
haha that reminded me of my haloween costume. i wore all black, had a white cane, sunglasses. and the word venice across my chest. i was a venetian blind...........yeah!
