my stepmom is of the same opinion..

I'd be okay with Alaska joining Canada anyhow. when I was learning about north american political geography in grade school, I thought it was stupid to have Alaska as a part of the US. it just looks bad.

Okay definitely BC washington oregon and northern california like tahoe area and san fran because thats always a fun time, then we skip over nevada because they really have nothing to offer then we take utah if their willing and colorado! definitely none of this idaho and montana bull shit because nobody really cares. then we would have the all time perfect country.
 
too bad all of the states and the province you are claiming are hickass redneck ares. you can try to make canada legit, but it will never happen. also, does you igloo have an indoor bathroom?

there's been talks about cascadia for years... for everyone who lives within the boarders of this "Cascadia", it would be a blessing... for those who fall outside it's boarders it would be bad.
With California included Cascadia (Alaska, Yukon, BC, Alberta, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and California) would have a higher GDP (or whatever it is) than the US and Canada. It would be the new powerhouse of the world, we'd have all the natural resources and water, the population, and the culture to slow down the destruction of our environment.
But if you think there's a chance in hell the U.S. would allow the PNW to secede you've gotta be joking. We will see the North American Union before we see Cascadia.

Finland is ready to join. I bet we could get the other Nordic countries Sweden, Norway and Iceland in too (I know i left Denmark out... there's a reason). We will happily exchange some of our fine women for some great weed and better skiing. And I would definetly be the leader of Scandinavia, just because I was first to count us in.
 
Fuck that. Resorts of the Canadian Rockies would want to buy into that and take away the best parks in the world. First I guess they'd have to buy Vail Resorts. Ahh its not gonnu happen anyway haha. Word, we'll take Colo, means I wouldn't have to cross the border.
 
besides ski resorts i like canada just as it isdespite being english in quebec we got it all: skiing, parties, ladies and decent weedperfect oh and we deffs have better maple syrup than vermont
 
ya its gross domestic product, but this is a map of the us, split into its regions. the northeast is the smallest region by area, but is the richest region in the u.s. the north east has about 50 million people (more than 1.5 times the population of canada) and the west, the largest region in the u.s has only 69 million.

people from canada think that california is a lot more populated than it really is. In reality, if you go just 20 miles east of the pacific, you end up in a desert in the middle of nowhere. and with the exception of san francisco, nor cal is all woods. also, nyc is more than twice as big as LA and nyc is the financial capitol of the world.
 
i think all the U.S. hate coming from Canada is just an inferiority complex, don't take your insecurities out on us.
 


To whatever douche was trying to be smart:

Toronto is considered by the U.N to be the most ethnically diverse city in the world. Last I saw, which for whatever reason was a couple days ago, Vancouver was about 1 percentage point behind in ethnic population. Thus, a fairly reasonable conjecture to make here would be that Vancouver is number 2.

Furthermore, and I don't want to toot Canada's horn too much here, but from what I've seen, it is also the most racially harmonious country I've ever been to. Of course there can be problems here or there, but I don't think you can find near the sentiment that I've heard from residents of your lovely southern states. It was scary.
 
actually the only one hating in this thread is eastside.

and yea new canada would be sick. but we need to have victoria BC because it makes up like 50% of canada's weed consumption.

and ive heard oregon called America's canada so many time's on tv and shit.

So its almost part of us already:P

but if those select states did join su they would have to live with our rules. so no war lol.
