Definitely something with manual controls available, like a DSLR that shoots over 20 megapixels (seeing as how most tiny point-and-shoot models shoot at 16 or above now anyway). You may not use manual mode while filming, but it literally only takes like a day to learn and it's tons of fun to play around with even off the hill. A Canon T5 or Nikon D3300 would be good places to start looking. Best of luck!
