New boots?

Okeydokeysmokey... I've got nearly a grand in gift certificates to a boot shop in stowe that does custom footbeds...So I'm getting new boots, I spend like 50-50 on trail and off, and like a 1/4 of my time in the park...I don't want a park specific boot but a good all mountain that provides a lot of energy transfer from boot to ski...I'm leaning towards the Nordica Speedmachines or HotRods...any other recommendations?

It depends on your regular skiing ability too. Go to the shop, be honest about your ability and get them to reccommend some stuff. Then get the one that fits the best.

I need to try on the size 27 dalbello cross but I tried on the 26.5 and that is what I ride right now and no offense but the boot felt and flexed like garbage...

I am riding some old rossi freeride xxs, look into the bandit elite... or whatever it is called these days

i got the technica diablo magnesiums, I also squeezed down 2 sizes to a 25.5 or a size 7 (I wear a size 10 shoe)...I got them shaved out and had the toe box heated and stretched, they are the snuggest most comfortable things I have ever worn

depending on foot shape and fit.. get yourself the dalbello "rampage" which is tight. Lange comp 100 or comp 120 FR. sickest boots ever. If that dont work get yourself a alpina J2.0

get full cork footbeds best thing u can do to your feet

i got nordica's and they were really comfortable, but go with what fits the best and is comfortable for you
