New boots talk

Hey everyone, about a week and a half ago, you guys helped me out with new boots for next season, but the remainder of this season, my dad is giving me his strolz boots he got custom made last year because he had to give up skiing due to a injury. They are Strolz All-Rounder boots, I'm going skiing this weekend in VT but don't know which boots to bring. Can anyone tell me about these and some pros and cons.

This thread is going nowhere, so you know.

I'd invest calculated opinion in here, but it will be overshadowed by the bullshit that will cover this place.

ok, im just trying to find out if anyone knows anything bout them cause everyone seemed to rush to help me with the full tilt question lol...

Do not use your dads boots, they have a foam liner which is pretty firm, and unless you happen to have exactly the same foot as your dad, there going to be really uncomfy. What is your other option for boots?

Well it's boot, does it feel stiff? How is the fit? Too big? Narrow? Too wide? Where are your other boots you've been using?

the boots im using right now are just shitty used boots i picked up for 50$ cause i wanted to start skiing again at the beginning of the year.... and honestly they seem to fit fine, we both do have very wide feet although mine are like .5 sizes bigger than his, they still feel fine.

if yours feel ok use those. When you can afford some new boots go get fitted up, dont just buy somthing online, or because it was recomened here.

okay, thanks everyone. plan is, go find a nice place to be fit for boots next year and ride the remainder of the year out on the strolz now. full tilts next yearrr

dont wear the strolz, or if you do use the liner from your boots if there the same size. The strolz have a foam injection liner which has been formed to your dads foot. Its firm foam and will not feel good skiing unless you happen to have the exact same foot as your dad. I would use your boots unless they are un wearable.

Also if you have wide feet its unlickly you will end up in full tilts.

Also good points.

Seriously, I would just use the boots you've been using now. Different boots that are custom molded to a specific foot aren't going to work for you.

And yes, if you have a wide foot, the 3 piece original Full Tilt boot most likely won't fit your foot.

Sorry man. That's life.
