Around the 20th of this month im picking up new boots, I know im gunna be told go to a boot fitter, but for now I need all the info I can get. Im looking for a boot around 250-300 dollars. I know its not alot at all but thats all I can afford. Im 5'11 190, Aggressive all mountain skiier (looking to get better in park). Shoe size is 11-11.5 and across foot is 12cm.. I dont know if that helps but yeh? Legitimate responses get +K.

im not being a dick, but there really isnt much we can tell u, just listen to ur boot fitter since he is the one looking at ur foot, seeing if ur pronate or supinate, he will fit u in the best boot available, and dnt listen to the guys up top, and telling us ur shoe size wont matter, boot sizes dont really correlate to shoe sizes. For instance i wear a size 11.5 shoe, and i wear a size 27 27.5 boot (same BSL) which technically is a 9-9.5 shoe.

They have completely different fits. Even trying to offer opinions on which would be best for you is retarded. The SPK has quite a wide last, or at least it feels that way. The Full Tilts are slightly narrower in the foot but the cuff is super super skinny, they work best if you have chicken legs. Dalbellos tend to have the narrowest fit of the lot.
Until you get into a shop and try a bunch on it's impossible to say. You'll know when you get the right boot... you stick it on your foot and it just feels right, straight away. That's the boot you want, not the one that so-and-such-a-pro uses or that the internet is in love with. And if it costs a little more, save up and buy it. My friend cheaped out on boots and it caused him nothing but agony and now he has to spend as much as he would have in the first place on new ones.
