New boots; Dalbello voodoo VS salomon SPK ?

My fulltilt hotdogger are now pretty much dead so i need new boots today at my local shop I tried Dalbello voodoo and found them reallly confortable and light and just the great size and they was a great flex for my liking !

Then i tried the salomon SPK and found them confortable too ! ( not as much as the dalbello) not as ligth as the dalbello too ! flex was looking good too

Right now i kinda prefer the dalbello first impression

But I don't know wich boots to choose how you guys love your voodoo/SPK ? One of my friend told me the voodoo was the low end boots anyone can confirm ? and if anyone have another boots choice for me tell me ! (not FT)

i would do the voodoo over the spk. if your saying the voodoo is more comfortable, take it. The spk is a little more performance oriented because its a hair stiffer but your voodoo's going to be a little tighter fit. But heres what i say to my customers when there on the edge between two boots. At the end of the day, you remember if your feet hurt or not. They normally take the more comfortable boot.

different boots in design and features, yes, but they are both about a 104 last which is pretty big and again the voodoo is a little soft. But two somewhat comparable boots

i have never tried the SPK, but I do own the voodoo and I like them.

but my suggesstion, sort of like all ski boots, is to buy them in teh correct size. I bought mine and they fit fine for about 5 days and now they're a little too big because of the inliner. I have gotten toe bang a few times because of this. make sure you get the right size.

I own the Voodoos - I tried on the spks but they didn't fit as well for me. Which boot is "higher end" doesn't matter as much as choosing a boot that fits your feet, so don't get the spks just because your friend says they're better.

If the Dalbello is a better fit that's what I would recommend. I have the and really like the adjustable flex feature. Not sure if the voodoo has the same option.

I'd go with the most comfortable one. But before snapping up the Voodoo, remember that the SPK has got a rubber section for the big toe - it's that white piece, and it's a real toe saver. .

The other alternative is to get properly fitting boots. I never get toe bang because my boots actually fit.
