They'll never match Silent Alarm, and that's not a bad thing, I like to call it debut-itis. A lot of bands try to live up to their debut for their entire careers, and never match it.

wow, this album seems like its gunna be way more fast paced than a weekend in the city, i like.
 
bloc party was really good but they've been getting worse, they make an album every year and that just shows that they keep on putting less effort into their music
 
yeah its pretty common that the other albums suck because after the first album they hardly get any money, so they try to work their asses off a make a second album a couple months later and rush it.

they only have two albums, and they were released two years apart from each other.
