not true at all. this sounds. at first sound of natives, i heard M+Ms. its a mix of old and new. all thats happened is theyve matured
 
that's what im saying. it's a natural progression. They didn't play it safe and just make the untitled record again.
 
well i liked the immaturity haha it's probably still good. I was going to post an example but a lot of their songs have some like uhh.. teen against lyrics in them.
 
I kind of want them to put out an album in about a decade where all the lyrics focus on mid-life crises, like their kids going to college and having a dialed IRA and a mcmansion in suburbia. but with the same angsty sound they've somehow kept going for the past decade.

Glad these new songs are decent, when i saw them live last month i had no clue what they sounded like since i had never heard them and it was very loud
 
Yah I disregarded him thoroughly! the album is going to take some getting used to but I like where its going.
 
those of you who saw them live, what did they play? hopefully not the whole new alum there's a lot of stuff I would have loved to hear live.

so far so amazing imo. But I love Blink, AVA, +44, Box Car Racer, anything Tom, Mark or Travis so pretty much anything that comes from them will be good to me.
 
I'm waiting for it to actually come out so I can buy the album, but if there's a song on there that reminds you of M+Ms, I'm fucking pumped. I loved that song/album. Angels and Airwaves fucking blew and I hope they stay away from that style for the most part.
 
its a mix arrider, newschool and oldschool blink if you listened to up all night and after midnight i imagine its gonna sound the same as that, but i havent listened to the others. learn to love it

even bands with their own label don't make much, seeing as most artist-owned labels are imprints of imprints of subsidiaries of the big 4.
 
Listened to the album a few times. I dig most of the tracks. But what im waiting for now is to get in an argument about Travis Barker. He absolutely kills every track, i hope people can listen to this CD with an open mind, and enjoy it.

for the record, natives is my top pick right now
 
I honestly don't even care how the blink cd turns out- I will love it, I remember when chesire cat came out in high school and have listened to them ever since. Fuck any haters, I love Blink 182.
