I have to say that I really dont like about the last 3 songs or something like that. other then that, this cd kicks ass.
 
ya i got it a few days ago "the craft" its really good but i still think that damian marleys new album has been the best cd i have got this year
 
at the risk of starting another lame subjective NS war of words...i think i'd call blackalicious hip hop, not rap...just my opinion

your stupid. first of all, epitaph sold out (member of the RIAA) I still like many of their realeses, but it is a shame.

second of all, they have had atmosphere and sage francis signed for quite a while. I find underground hip hop very similar to punk. (not in sound ofcorse) It seems to have a similar open minded attitude and similar politics in most cases.

i know theyve had atmosphere sage francis and lyrics born before blackalicious. it was originaly a punk label though, they first signed nofx, the offspring and pennywise. they helped start the 1994 punk uprise with the song self esteem. dont call me stupid
 
no, the lable started because no one would sign Bad Religion. It started soley for Bad Religion because of this delema. of corse it was originally a punk label and maybe if you open your mind and listen a little, you would realize, that a lot of that underground hip hop is indeed punk. The bigger problem with that label is signing pussy pop-punk, "hardcore" and emo bands (Matchbook Romance, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Motion City Soundtrack, and Death By Stereo to name just a few); not underground hip-hop, because underground hip-hop doesnt pretend to be something its not!
