flames = so hot right now.

Actually no...not feeling the flames

Smuggs kicks ass

Fat skis, Tight trees

Gravitypro...some of us arent strictly park rats like yourself. You should go demo some 190+ b4's for a day in powder...its alot more fun than hitting rails all day.

I'd love a pair of b2's. Some of us aren't parkrats, but overall skiers.

open up, we're coming inside. What's it feel like to know you're gonna die?

i love my bandits these new ones might take some getting used to but i have had no probs in the park with mine even switch cause they do have a slightly elevated tail. Plus my bandits perform much better 'all-mountain' than any twins i have ever rode.

Guy above: if you're thinking of actually buying B2s, demo them first. I hated them, personally... The b3s agreed with me, but that's a totally different ski. And guy above: many twins perform better all-mountain than a B1 (which I'm guessing is what you're talking about), in my opinion, anyways.

I'm not planning on buying a pair, I'm actually planning on buying tele stuff if anything. I was just sayin that I wouldn't mind a pair of bandits and those were the ones that I saw yesterday.

open up, we're coming inside. What's it feel like to know you're gonna die?

JD i have never ridden a pair of twins that were stiff enough for me, granted i havent had a lot of chances to demo other skis nor do i have several hundred bones to pick up new skis, i really wish i could get a pair of nice twins but its just not in the cards right now

^Try skiing Karmas, Mad Trix Mojos, or (this is hearsay) MSPs, and you may find your mind changing quickly. I'd suggest pistols, but you said stiff, and... yeah... no.

I ride B1's on groomers and when I'm teaching. My Scratch FS's are just a little too wide underfoot. I just got a pair of 1260s though, and I'll see if they carve well enough, however, they're probably too soft.

Guys honestly none of your park/powder skis can handle like some big ass bandits. Sorry but maidens pistols arvs bc's they all suck compared to a big fat stiff all mountain ski. Well if we are talking about ripping the shit of stuff anyway. Most of those skis I listed above are great all around skis but honestly a 195 B4 is going to fucking SMOKE any of your park/bc skis.

My guess is 95% of you couldnt handle a big stiff ski....but if you could you would know what Im talking about. I personally HATE riding my pistols on powder days where the snow isnt all untracked. Pistols are good for powder and not going to fast...but if you want speed then you have to get a real all mountain ski and ditch the skis alot of companies are coming out with now.

So i guess the B4's are the fatties now...

the colour is nasty..

You can't get hurt skiing until you fall

It's sad that more of you are worried about the color schemes more than the mounting plates. There's a reason Atomic got rid of all of their binding plates: they're heavy and cumbersome.

In review, the colors aren't that cool, but the binding plate is about as cool as AIDS.

plus who cares because they arnt twin tips?

Life is tough. Its tougher when you're stupid

my school mates always said that they would fuck anything that could walk. i never saw why i had to limit myself.

I haven't really had a chance to ski my Pistols in any really decent snow this year, 2 feet at most, and it wasn't really ideal snow to compare. 195 B3s at Baker were awesome. When I was forced to ski on groomers, I found they weren't at all versatile, and I tried taking them in the park... yeah, don't. But then, if there's a bunch of fresh snow to ski, I wouldn't be anywhere else, anyways. Overall, I wouldn't want to own them if they were my only ski, obviously, but they really do live up to their reputation if you can handle that much ski (and the 195 is a TOTALLY different ski from the 185, besides the length). I'd rather have pistols for all around skiing though, than a b2, which is supposed to be the all around bandit. I seriously disliked those things.

Reggaeconcept: it is possible to manage to include a plate system without making it very heavy... and it does improve performance. So I wouldn't knock it until I've tried it, personally. Maybe I'll demo some B4s next year if we get any snow, I've never ridden a plate on a fat ski.

^I'm not saying that plates are automatically a bad thing, however, unless just right, are often more trouble than they are worth.

hey i have a pair of Bandit B2's the 178 model nd they are pretty dope...i would not want to own another pair of skis..if i only had one pair (i have to admit PE's r pretty dope too)

what are you talking about? Bandits have always looked gay.

I live in a place far far away, where on occasion the telly tubbies will come to play....and that's when Ma gets out the shotgun. Damn critters climb in our gutter system all the time.

i got a pair of old bandit juniors, inherited them from skier11, damn nice ski those are, not too bad in pow. Id love to try the new ones out

------------------------------

I'm never paying attention, thats my excuse

those mounting plates sit flush with the topsheet & arent very heavy at all. the marketing spheil says they are for shock absorbtion (theyre rubber with a layer of aluminium on them)

I mean I'm not expecting any mind blowing graphic out of a intermeditate-advanced ski. They're fine for what they are, and if I needed a ski like that I'd buy them over something else, but I don't, hence me not buying some.

Does anyone know the dimensions of them?

'kevin whyed nils pull you out?' 'Cuz i was touchin bitches.' 'No seriously why did he put scott in for you.' 'Scott doesn't touch bitches.'

They are not mounting plates, they are mounting "areas", the entire topsheet of the ski is flat. And the 06' B4 has the same dimensions as the 05' B3.

Today's post has been brought to you by the letters F, R, W and the number 7.

isn't there a bandit squad as well?
