I posted this on the 'lame' thread, but i thought it should get its own thread. When someone says 'wussup' or 'how ya doin' bro' what have you... don't be a snotty ass dick and act like you're too cool for school. It seems as though too many people have this atitude and its impeding the progression of the sport. If everyone were all cool with eachother at every venue, we would all be so much better for it. Face it, we all have the same addiction, so 99% of the people on here can be compatible friends. Friends are the ones that push you higher, farther, faster, and the ones that help you out when you're slammed on your face. This season I wish that the ultimate progression in skiing is made on the social frontier eventually transgressing to the physical well forefronts of the sport. WORD.

^So sad...maybe not impending the progression as tricks go but we are regressing the sport. Skiing has always been so chill and friendly. Hes right it seeems now that once a guy gets good he acts to good for everyone. We do need to know our roots and keep the soul skiing alive. Help each other out on the hill its not so much to ask. And for the love of God stop the hate!

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

I understand that Scissors can beat Paper, and I get how Rock can beat Scissors, but there\\\'s no fucking way Paper can beat Rock. stupid dicks discourage kids. i remember when i was learning rails a couple of years ago..some stupid dicks on the chair started yelling at me and making fun of me. it discouraged me and i spent my time avoiding then in the park, rather then working on the rails..it was shitty.

if everyone was nice to eachother it would be like......i dont know no sport is nice to eachother. but i think that the lower level kids at the mountain could improve 100% at skiing if the good kids (my crew) would be nice....but they are fags cause they snowplow the jumps and wreck the jumps for rails. but people on the same level should be nice to eachother and join crews cause they can def progress

Bristol Rider is right on with that. Everyone in my crew is tight to, and if you want to come ride we would welcome any skiier of any skill. I'd be totally stoked to help out anybody with a trick, and if a better rider came along, I'd be thrilled to learn from him. Immitation is the biggest form of flattery, so when some 15 year old punk says wussup to me, I'll give him the time of day. I've met a lot of cool ass people on the mountain and they've made my sessions sick every time. On the other hand, there are a lot of cool ass people I didn't get to meet because they thought they were all that and a bowl'a'nuts. word.

 
Common courtesy should extend to the terrain parks and halfpipes of the world. If someone says hi to you when you're riding, feel free to reply with 'hey', or ''sup', or 'hi', or any other appropriate greeting.

'Fuck you', 'eat shit', 'don't talk to me I'm sponsored' and 'you suck ass' are NOT appropriate replies. Keep them out of skiing. Besides, how stupid would you feel if the person trying to talk to you was a member of the opposite sex and you told them to fuck off?

Freezy deletes all my posts because he doesn't like me, so I suggest you message him to make him stop.
 
back in the good old days we used to have pipe sessions all the time (our mountain didnt have a park) and we would learn so much shit...so fun. but now all of our crew and people have left to go outwest so we cant session in the park

I think some sports are way worse than skiing.

Mountain bikers, for example, are inherently assholes.

Also, I think most people who live within the boundaries of Summit County.

I hate girls in COWBOY HATS...

I don't think it should necessarily be for this website, but more in general. It's kind of dumb to be rude to somebody just because you don't know them or whatever reason you can come up with. Personally, I think it's fun to talk to people on the lifts, in the lodge, and at the park.

Hey B-wald, nice drunk posts...somewhat relevant I guess. F&F Wannabees for sure ruined car modding. If we keep up the shadiness on the slopes, maybe there will be gang wars where you have to watch your back before you get blasted...by a snowball.

 
Here is how i see it (this is bigsky_gurl btw, my account is not working).....If that is who the person is, they shouldnt change it for skiing, for anyone. If they use that image to promote themselves, then that is stupid, but maybe these skiers are just being real?
