New armadas...

yea, new armadas, The ARG is being released mid season, and the lsat picture is suppose to me the 08 armadas, some guy on Newschoolers has a pic of them as well

^ it's probably to 07-08 model, they always test the future model a season before, you'll proably see the armada team skiing on these this season, whilst everyone is on the 06-07

how it always works

exactly,.... kinda like how tanner was riding the new t-halls and jpvs.juliens in show and prove, that was techniqly the 05-06 season.

they made less ARG's than pipe cleaners this year so good luck gettin em unless you pay full retail...

As long as they sell they will be mass produced next season

1.) i wish i spoke french.

2.) evryones saying that the last picrtue is next years ar6's.... isnt the last picture the same as the others on the page?

i have had some friends that have had some bad luck with Armadas...blown edges...delamed tips....has anyone else seen or heard of this?...have they made changes?

Thats a cool idea.

Those are the ARGs, a limited-production set to release this season. They are a rocker style camber and a sidecut within a sidecut. That means the ski is straight as a ruler from the tip to your toe area. There is a slight sidecut from the toe to heel only. Then the ski reverts back toward the tail. Like no other.

nice to see such a core company come up with something as original as the ARG. oh wait, volant did that one already and people laughed at them.

McConkey brought the idea to life and everyone laughed at him, but then again this is the same guy to started skiing on shorter fatter skis and everyone thought he was nuts too.

the arg is a 188 or something. as for the kid who said armadas are poorly made. I have yet to try a freeride ski which wont break down over months of abuse. I have 3 pairs of armadas and all are still in great shape. The AR5 from the first year had a tail peice which popped out, but other then that, certain skis from batches of production ae going to have flaws, but that is why there is a warranty program.

in whay ways is there warranty program bad? Im just wondering, ive never had a problem with my skis, but people that I know who have had problems have either a) got their skis fixed, or b) gotten a new pair. but thats onlya a couple cases. have you had a bad encounter with them?

If you look on pg. 159 of the new freeskier on the picture in the top left you can see the supposed "08 armadas" stuck in the snow.
