i was lucky enough to stay with the armada crew at last years winter x, and they had definately isolated that problem with the AR5s, this seasons are heaps better. they changed a lot of the ski, should be way stronger. hey, if its good enough for tanner, its good enough for us right?

 
New sidewalls and tough bases. My friend has been hitting rails on his ARV's for the last week, going out and killing it. Not so much as a scratch on the bases. I have been riding my 1080s in the same time, and am missing numerous large chunks out of my base and edges. I also rode my ARV's in some messed BC today, over rocks stumps and all I did was get a little bur on one of the edges where I completely sloughed snow off a rock and didn't turn fast enough to avoid it. I think they've really stepped it up this year.

i was going to say the same as pipemunky. I havent ridden mine ar5 yet, but the whole changing with the factory should improve the whole skis.

my last years edges are fine... what got fucked up was the tail plates. They ripped out on the 3rd day i used them.

last years look so cool everyone would know you have armadas. like they're intimaditing. the kids with lines are like huddles in groups whispering about them . because they know. they know and its so easy to tell that they are cool ass dope skis.

i love line, they got me into freestyle and i ski k2. but armadas. they go wherever the wind takes them to rip. swoooooshhhhhhh

i got in a car crash,got shot at,and attacked by a fucking bobcat. cross country is boring.
