they are sooooo ugly! i'm so glad that i got a pair of 07 ar6's. seriously, how can they expect to sell even one pair? is this just me, or does anyone else agree?
 
Maybe they were trying to get away from the dark colors of the 07 Ar6s.

Idk, the art on my 166s is actually pretty creepy and dark once you take a while to look at it.
 
i also bought the 07 181 a little while ago because i like the 07 graphics better... but i still like the 08, just not as much
 
I got the 07 ar6s, i like the colors, theyre not really dark, and who is sammy ween? but the 08 ar6 are pretty dope tho, i think
 
th 07 ar6 is has a way sicker graphic

the 08 is terrible its like another POKEMON INVASION

i only like the 181 just because the purple looks dope as hell in a real pic
 
Last years ar6s are pretty much the sickest skis ever graphics wise. I won't say i like or dislike the 08s yet because I haven't seen them in person, however they do look dope
 
There alright, some of the 07 looks weird too. like the 166, the 08 166 look weird too lol. the 181 are dope! to bad i ride 161/166... and I like the 07 base more.
 
let me explain the "WEEN" thing. 

artists get stuck on themes. One of Madsteez's themes is "ween"... i don't know if it comes from ween like weenis or whatever. it's just kinda funny. look through the work on his site, or even his site... it's all over the place. Sammy ween comes from him replacing parts of names with "ween : when he draws people... it's like all of the people he interprets have ween in the name. Like Daid Bowie = David Boween. 
 
however, this comes down to taste not opinion. people have different tastes, some even have bad taste. If some perverted person is feasting on a plate of dog shit, and loves the taste, he can claim as much as he wants, the dude has bad taste, end of discussion.

but the new AR6 isnt that bad, the older ones were gorgeous but yeah...
 
I too think the 07 AR6s are the most original, artistic and most un-boring graphics on skis ever and prefer them way over the 08 Ar6s, which I think are just too kiddie-ish!
 
you say they are ugly and how do they expect to sell any, they prolly expect to sell them based more on the merrits as a ski and the integrity and performance than the looks. just a though.
 
yeah, but if i was buying a ski, of course i would put quality ahead of graphics, but if there was a similar ski with better graphics that did the same thing, i would choose that. But i wouldnt get a worse ski just because i didnt like the graphics, im just saying that IMO the ar6 08 graphics are hideous.
