holy shit. i cant wait for it to come out. the new album is 'Evovler', i heard a song off of it called 'Creatures (For a While)' and its pretty sick. The new album will be released on the 22nd and their tour will launch on the 15th. Im probably going to be at the concert in NY NY on August 8th. Hell yeah, Im goin to 2 shows in the midwest and 1 in CO when I get back to school in aug. Their shows should be insane this summer with a new soundsystem, vid screen and more of a mixed up set list than in the past (bringing out a few rarities each show).

They're supposedly trying to go in a few different directions, so yes some mellow stuff but I am pretty sure that will not dominate the album (too bad, I love the mellow stuff). I dont think it will be as experimental as transistor but it should be sweet to hear what comes of it.

**oh yeah, of the 4 songs off of evolver that ive heard, none of them are mellow, try and d/l 'reconsider everything,' theyve been playing that live for a while now and you should be able to find it, if not just message me.

Their songs all sound the same, this new one 'creatures' sounds just like everything they've ever made.

yeah but i guess at least they didnt go off on a totally different direction and fuck their style up... personally i thought transistor was the worst album by far
