one of my friends had last years 1260, and by the end of the year the edges were a zigzag, and cracked in like ten places. he doesnt land hard on rails, so i wouldnt get them if they havent fixed the edges(made them thicker). just get the chronic anyway.

Yeah I use mine in the park and they're great. I wasn't impressed in powder at all. I switched to Darksides for that.

Lines should be way better this year. I'd get them if I needed a park ski. That's all I can tell you.

the chronic would be better in the bumps and steeps due to the stiffness.

its a better allaround ski

the 1260 us cheaper $$ and softer, ie more park oriented.

Size: probably 165-170cm

How well either will perform depends on your personal preference. We have no idea how you ski. Stiffer skis are generally higher performance on groomers. 'How much better' is not a question that makes sense, it depends on the skier. Maybe none, if you don't like stiff skis.

if your on a budget and only ride park, yes. but the normal edges crack like crazy from rails, and they suck out of the park. they kill it for park riding thoug.

they stiffeneds it up quite a bit, which i dont really like. the 1260 is a great ski to learn on, but if your serious, i wouldnt bother. the edges really suck, they chatter like crazy at speeds, they have shitty bases, and they dont have an ollie band anymore.
