i tried it saturday and ended up sleeping in the hospital saturday night, i only knew how to go straight and i couldn't turn or stop and i was flying down the trail, caught an edge and bruised my spleen or something and pissed pure blood, it sucked. Now i knmow never to trie it again.

I went snowboarding earlier this year and I thought it was way fukin easier to learn than skiing was. I 50-50ed every single rail at copper my first day. AND landing shit is outrageously easy. I was landin 480s and 700s smooth.

acutally my friend saw a boarder who went up over the gap, tried to backslide the rail and his board snapped, the rail was a good 10 feet high, that could hurt a little.

never snowboard? the reason you pissed blood is because you were a dumbass and didnt learn to stop before you went fast. the same thing could happen on skiis just as easy. and to the kid who said you cant hurt your crotch, ive seen people not get high enough and get there board under a rail that didnt have supports on the beginning. thats more trecherous then skiis, yet a million times less common.

And that guy who said he was doing 480s on a board? Think about it, thats not a normal rotation, only a snowboarder would do a 480.

In tractor pulls, a 'full pull' is the best you can get. Ahh, how sport mirrors life.

there are more than two types of grinds on skis, when you throw unnatural and natural and tail and noses presses in the mix..... snowboarding is definately easier than skiing, i had no problem on my first day ever trying.

i aint kiddin man. me and a friend switched out gear for a day i could 50 50 every single rail at copper. this included the 20 ft battleship rail and i did a frontside boardslide on a double kink and it was 50,000 times as easy than on skis. if dont believe me i can show u.

my friend rented skiis once last season and could hit a 60 foot kicker and 360 that same day, so by all your guy's logic skiing is easy.

and just because you can 50-50 doesnt mean snowboarding is easy. thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard. notice how good riders dont show off their 50-50s?
