Hey help me out here got a buddy always asking about skis, line in particular. dude is around 190cms and about 85 kilos about 190 lbs. thinking that line is a soft ski will e flex em too much. if so shoot out another brand you think is better. sking equal amount of powder to park play.

yes i am a little bigger than that and i have stiff twins (fischers) lines are quite soft...the only one that would fit him would be motherships cuz they're a little stiffer and longer. volkls are pretty stiff twins and i hear 4frnts are as well

let him ride a softer ski if he wants. I'm about as big as him and I ride lines, well karhu's and they hold up just fine.

Have you ever been hit by a Uhaul?
 
first of living in japan means there are a lot of chances to demo lines or other skis.

we ski at a resort that gets about 300iches a year with about as much sun mixed in. sking mostly trees and meadows. I ride the lbfs and love them. looking for the prefect combi ski for these conditions cant buy 2 sets of skis.

i am about that same weight and yes they are too soft. work fine in park or pow, but in bumps/crud/ and packed stuff they are no fun.

I;m 6 feet, 185 lbs and Lines are ok. They break easily though, and unless you live in the US warrenty is terrible. Armadas would be alot better, or Heads or Scratches.

break easy? I'm a big kid and I've come down hard onto flat way back on the tails and they were fine. The skis will be fine, if he wants em' let him get them.

phrosty, newer lines(the past couple years) are said to be better for delamming, but you gotta admit a few years ago they broke easy as shit, but theyre still wet noodles

the lines i'm talking about were the skogens with the ships. and they are still intact today.

well your lucky then man, cuz my friend had those and broke em like his 8th day on em and another friend of mine had em and all the tips, front and back were totally spilt apart

first, the lines we are thinking about are the new pollards. next do to size and weight we have been in a debate about the volkls or lines. Head is out of the question cant get head near us for some reason. plenty of rossis salomon k2 atomic volkls but head just isnt around. the lines have to be ordered and that means you have to pay the full sticker price. I prefer the dynastars cause they ski like a GS ski on the groomed easy to turn and stable enough in the powder.but im rather short 171cms and only 155 so they fit prefectly for what and where I ski. My buddy is looking for something in the 180 to 185 range.

its come down to this i think k2 public enemy, volkl vpro or the line pollards.

Yeah, I`m the dude whos` gotta some new skis.I`m about 95kg too if that makes much diff.

Gonna have to order those V-Pros in too. Cause Japanese are short and don`t want 180s eh.
