Nepal travel

Heading to Nepal. Kathmandu and Hamalayan foothills in 2 weeks. Wondering if anyone has experience in those parts with videography and the like. Any advice about local customs, good places to check out etc.
 
Thanks for the info man! I am going with my universities film program for a study abroad. The trip leader has been several times to shoot for a company called Nepal Seeds, which is what we will be doing. Several weeks in Kathmandu and a week or two trekking through the foothills. Super excited, plus I get to spend 10 hours in Dubai on the way out. Thanks again for the info, I really appreciate it.

I've been to Nepal 16 years ago and I stayed at the Kathmandu guesthouse back then too. I don't remember much because I was only 8, but I do remember it was a really nice play to stay (even back then).
