I am from nelson, I ski at whitewater, but I will only be back for a month at christmas to ski because I am in Vic. for college.

The only enemy agaist progression is FEAR!
 
I ski at Whitewater but I go to LVR in the city...are you new to the area?

i've lived near most my life but am new to NS and was just wondering if i knew anybody here- i went to LVR for 1 semester 2 years ago, and know loads of people in town so i might know you.

 
im not from nelson. im from the other side of the world. but iv skied a couple of weeks per year at whitewater for the last few years.. i love that place so much

i have met like 3 people from nelson. not on here, just random ass people in person. seems like nelson is the place to be!
 
Sorry to say, but Grand Forks the biggest hole in the ground. It is such a hick town, and there is no way you can compare it to nelson. We have a beautiful Heritage town on a lake, amazing skiing everywhere around us, some of the best biking in North America, astonishing scenery, and it is the chillest town ever that is pretty much run on skiing and weed. Grad Forks has a strip street and there are no hills except rolling ones. Do not try to say that Nelson is worse unless you have the facts to back your shit up. Also, I would not insult your town...but since you went in on mine, you had it coming to you.
 
i dunno man, nelson isnt that hickish.

i started hanging out in town cause i was sick of the hicks in the valley. its just hicks and "naturalists"(that means hippy) and i live like... 10, maybe 15 minutes outside of nelson.
