Nelson or Revelstoke

I am thinking of taking a gap year in either of these two towns next year

I rank skiing vs parting about 70:30

I live about an our away from revy so I ski there pretty much every weekend. I know it is an awesome mountain and a super fun night life/party town. Also lots of British and Aussie girls

I have been to Nelson a few times but I was much younger. It seems like a great town with two amazing and underrated mountains nearby. I was wondering about the nightlife and also the people in Nelson

Currently I am leaning towards Nelson as it is somewhere new and further away from home, but I am not sure

So in conclusion, which town would you choose NS?

Also open to any other options.

Sound like your showing off your year off. You live an hour away from revy and you have been to nelson before and your asking NS for their opinion? Come, you make it sound like its a huge decision.

I moved from the east coast to the west coast without thinking of it too much. If I can pick a place without help, you can too.

Nelson is quieter, but revy has better terrain.
