ok so basically i broke my humerus five and a half weeks ago and the doctor said no skiing before six weeks... now six weeks is next week which is also the end of spring break and i'm sitting here on a perfect sunny day bored as hell...so what do you think ns, should i go skiing or not

humerus is way overratted... im not really sure what it is but i would probably be on my way to the slopes right now if i was you

you have only one big bone in your arm?? must suck to have no elbows, +k bro, thats tough...

no seriously, if its the arm, i think you should at least hit the hill and chill with your crewZ. but be careful and/or just cruise around, go filming or photographing, shouldnt matter as long as you hang out with your gangz.

Technically, the arm only extends to the elbow. After that it's the forearm.

Anyways, to the OP, go hang out with your friends, do some filming if you're into that, and wait until the full six weeks is up before you get back on your skis. You don't want to fuck anything up again when you're this close to being healed.

dooooooooo it dude! its one week i'm sure its healed. plus its your arm so...yeah you would regret it big time if you didn't go. skiing>arm

Hell yeah dude go skiing especially if you ar already that xclose to the doctors orders just try not to fall on it man I think you'll be set

not to scare you or anything but i came back from a broken arm waited the whole time that the doc told me (2 months) and still rebroke it. But having done that i would still go for it if i were you, just take it easy like everyone is saying

yea im glad someone can relate, the doctor said two months for a full recovery but also said i could prob start skiing at six weeks.
how did you rebreak it?

i was snowboarding at the time, which was my first mistake, caught an edge and just landed on it funny. The second rebrake was alot worse than the first and i had to have surgery to fix it. I had just gotten out of the cast. I have broken 6 bones. Each time i would break one once I would rebrake it again. all the doctors just said it was bad luck. So basically shit happens. If you have a splint or something i guess it would help but it can also make you more susceptible to a break at a different spot. Splints make your arm strong where they cover the bone but they create a weak spot where they end. good luck if you do go skiing.

that is my personal opinion and what i would do in your situation
