Next year I'm looking at taking a trip out west some place. Ive only been to steamboat and whistler so far. It hadn't snowed in steamboat for a few days and i really didnt like the place very much. I was at whistler for coc over the summer. so what im asking for is help in deciding on a place to go next winter. i really like skiing park but im not very good and i have yet to ski pow. so i guess im looking at a mountain with a decent park and a place with pretty good odds that ill have fresh snow to ski. please tell me why you would go here and ups and downs of this place.

what im looking for:

decent park

good chances of fresh snow

minimal gaper crowds (if that will ever happen)

good terrain to ride

room + lift ticker for under $200 a night

Let me get some advice NSers!!!!!

thanks, mad K to anybody that can help me out

you should look inot staying in frisco colorado, keystone breck and vail are close and so is copper mountain. i took this trip a few weeks ago and it was the trip of a lifetime! check it out

Beaver Creek, Colorado
- Sick Parks- Really great in-bounds pow terrain (royal elk glades and stone creek chutes)- minimal crowds, not too many gapers- good food- you could probably find a cheap place to stay- near vail (which in my opinion is inferior)
Go to the Beav!

dude stay in salt lake city and you can stay at the best western executive inn for 90$ a night and that includes room, breakfast, transportation, and lift ticket. Thats what i did this febuary vacation. The only expensive part cann be flights.
hope that helps

with the deal i got the superpass was a lift ticket to snowbird, alta, brighton, or solitude. The superpass was also the pass you can use for the bus or train

Bigwhite its where i ski its not super busy we have a good park and good chances of fresh

www.bigwhite.com

Big Sky in MT could be a decent destination for what your looking for. dont come before Christmas though. the snow usually comes after the holidays.

BigSky MT... biggest terrain in america along with a decent park and such good snow and big mountain riding. also maybe jackson hole WY

if i could i would try for whistler. check out prices n shit. cuz u know they got a sick mountian and they party thier asses off there

yeah beaver has one of the best and most unique parks right now they are killing it this year. and they have some sick tree skiing and lift lines are small. but its pretty expensive there aren't any really cheap places to stay in town but theres cheap places to stay in avon 5 minutes from bc's gates
