ive been skiing for a few years now pretty consistently and im getting to the point where its time to get my own skis. last winter i was lucky enough to find a pair of rentals i felt very comfortable in, Volkl expression series 178cm and i was hoping there would be someone with the technical knowledge to help me out with what kind of specs i should look for in a pair of skis. anything would be helpful, thanks

and what are you skiing are you looking to get into park? do you just like to ski all the mnt? charge lines? ski pow? and answer the questions above. that way we can be a little more helpfull

I doubt he charges lines or skis pow since he doesn't know much about skis.

But ya, what type of terrain do you ski, height, weight would all be good starting points.

i ski on the east coast, new york and vermont mountains generally, im 6'6" 210lbs im just getting into hitting jumps cant really do anything yet but im hoping to work on that this winter, for the most part im usually skiing on manmade snow. i hope that helps

nothing thicker than a 95 waiste

something relatively stiff, if you like jumping.

volkl walls maybe?

I'd go for a stiff symmetrical ski.

Off the top of my head I'd say Volkls, the Wall or whatever it's called.

It will be easy to learn spins and ski switch.
