Need to get back at eBay member - How?

Alright, 3 months ago I bought an awesome Molson Canadian sign off eBay....yes I'm a hoser.

Unfortunately, like so many eBay purchases it arrived broken. After filing a claim with Greyhound instead of eBay (my big mistake) I've only now 100 days later received notice that Greyhound won't be able to refund me and now eBay won't let me file a claim.

So then, how best to take it to him? I'm going to get my Credit Card to dispute the charges but would love some internet justice too.

Haaaaaalp!! Rather not take this to 4chan.

hitman you say?

how much did you spend on it?
there are places that fix those. doubt it's cheap but if you didn't pay too much initially maybe it's worth it.

As much as I hate to see someone have a transaction go bad, I agree with the guy above. You did everything wrong. If it was fragile, pay for insurance. If it arrives broken, take the claim to the post office and get your money back. VERY simple. eBay offers further services. You did not file for these. The sign arrived broken, you did not take the time to look into how to correct the problem, you put it off for way too long, and now you want the seller to fix the situation? No way. If I was the seller there is no chance I would refund your money at this point. Take this as a relatively cheap lesson that you need to be proactive in taking care of problems when they arise.

you cant really get back to him, you made a mistake with the claim. you cant really post bad feedback either because you did not dispute it through ebay. lesson learned

i would just slow down here and look at the situation. how do you know the postal service didnt break it? have you contacted the person yet and talked to them? if he sent it broken (which he probably wouldnt admit) and is being a douchebag then by all means poop on a mattress and put it in his pool and pee in his butt all at once

I get my OP abbreviated for the sake of NS as few would read the multiple paragraphs it would take to explain this in detail.

What I left out is that had Greyhound know what he was shipping they would have never accepted it. However, by deceiving them he passed this issue onto me as when the sign arrived broken the shipper stated I had to take it up with Greyhound.

Lesson learned that I should have filed a claim with eBay at the same time, and that if shipper's ever try to switch shipping companies don't let them.

Anyways, I'm getting my credit card company to go at him and I think that should apply some pressure.
