Need to fix surfboard

I am borrowing a board but need to fix it up before I get out. It has a couple of dings in it and I need to know how to fix it or what to use.

get a patch kit. make sure there is a water tight seal , you should be fine.

i used to fix them all the time in class.

you can fill it with filler (hahaha what a concept!) and patch it with fiberglass.

or just get a new board........or have someone who knows their shit do it.
