I have a heavy 5'x10' trailer for my business.

I need a V6 to pull it.

I'm looking at Rodeos, Pathfinders, and no longer Blazers.

ideas?

i got an xterra supercharged and it tows are drift boat and river sled pretty good. it would work pretty good for towing a small trailer like u have

 
id say get a truck, a diesel probabaly not that bad on gas mileage, and its cheaper then regular gas. where i live anyways..waht is ur business for?

leather, 4x4, tow package, good shape, looking between 60 and 90000 miles, however for the more reliable cars, i suppose there isn't a problem with over 100k.

dude brody, be like me and get a v250 3/4 ton cargo van. 4 wheel drive, straight 6 block, and its gotta ball hitch on the back. all for $1500.

I have an 03 Xterra supercharged... the damn thing is meh on gas.. if money is tight id say get the unsupercharged so u dont need to use 91 octane in it... right now at 84 cents a liter in Canada im sittinga at about 40-50$ a tank and get about 300km to 3/4 of a tank. The damn thing pulls a 2 horse trailer fully loaded with a lil stress not much tho. But I doubt ur trailer is that heavy. I got mine in black and it is pretty bad ass but she does need a bath thats for sure.

We pull my friends sea doos with her Pontiac Grand Prix. its fun

^ i got the same car. its sweet but u dont have to run 91 octance, u can use regular (87 i think), but if u want max performance then buy the expensive shit but you dont really need it. and dont buy the unsupercharged model, its so damn slow and has no power at all

 
How about Subaru Outback or Forrester?

They're tough as hell & very reliable. They use similar engine as Porsches currently uses. They created AWD & patented it, uses titanium frames, and been awarded for best rating in crash safety n shit like that. Check them out at www.subaru.com

 
And I want to add one more thing- CADILLAC SUCKS ASS, over-priced piece of shite.

I can find a $2000 japanese car that last lot longer and can take a hell of beating. 60% of Cadillac parts & technology is borrowed from another automobile companies- Dont believe me? Check it out for yourselves.

Nissan pickups run forever. Pre 1997, they had great ratings for durability and low end power. They rate low on comfort, high-end power and features. Can't speak for anything after that year.

Im an SUV truck girl... NOT a fan of cars at all. Sporegasm how can u say thats Cadis suck. they make some the NICEST american made vehicles on the market. ID rather be driving a GMC or Chevy instead of my Nissan but my Nissan was given to me so I didnt have much of a choice. I miss my old '00 GMC Yukon that thing was my lil bitch.

i currently am driving my moms escky which is a pain in the ass to fill with the gas, its a ton of money at the pump but im about to get the 2001 F-150 Crewcab triton V8 with the big stainless steel rack on the back, dont know how much better that will be with the gas but nothin burns it like the caddi.

i was going to go for a quad daffy but i was like, why huck? -mommy

Honey, I'm sorry to break the bad news to you... You're talking out of your ass, yes really.. Do some research yourself and you'll see they're terrible when it comes to being reliable & durablity. I know my shit because I'm currently in my 3rd year of attending school of engineering for Mechanical Engineering program. I know automobiles really well because its my career. 60% of Cadillac technology is borrowed from Japanese market, so technically you're buying Japanese vehicle, not American.

 
but cadillacs are called cadillacs. that's why they rule. if you can afford to buy one, you can afford to maintain one (hopefully), and you can afford to have a second car when your caddy pimp daddy is in the shop.

and you can't deny that the beastly ass caddy's of 20-30 years ago were bad ass. i'd take a late 70s coupe deville or eldorado over just about any car if i could afford the gas

I'd love to get an xterra, but unless i can find one with 300,000 on it, since they came out in like '00, they're all too much money for me.

i truly think it's between Rodeos, Blazers, and a good pathfinder if i can find one.

what about Rodeos? they're inexpensisve. like '98s for like under 6 or 7 grand. with around or sometimes under 100k

What about Hyundai or Suzuki? I know they're not the best & flashy vehicles on the market, but new models carry 100k miles bumper to bumper warranty, doesnt guzzle up gas like Suburban, Passport, Xterra does, and is reliable. Didnt you know taht Subaru makes Isuzu, and Suzuki. You cant beat that 100k mi warranty deal actually.

Here in Europe we mostly drive heavy trailers with 3.0 Turbodiesel jeeps. Those use about 10-15 litres per 100 km, which is about 5 gallon for 100 miles I guess.

And if you can't afford 4x4, certainly don't buy front wheel drive. Can be really tricky on wet roads.
