Need suggestions/help

Hi!

Been thinking for a while about getting new skis , boots and bindings. I like to rail and jump in the park and to ride powder. I guess im about 60%powder and 40%park. I am 175cm tall and 60kg.

Ive mainly been looking into Line skis because I have heard and read nice things about them (except them falling apart and shit). While in the park in only like to play with 360s and such so no need for skis that spin fast or anything. Been looking on this setup this far:

Line transfer boot (cheap)

Line Mothership Titanium/Flite 172cm

Line reactor 12 (heard these are rubbish...true?)

770 dollars online.

Any other suggestions ?

Get Armada ARV's 175, LOOK p12's, Lange FR 80.

$600 online.

'Duran Duran bought Armada, Armada bought Microsoft, Microsoft bought MSP and AOL, AOL owns Time4 which owns the MountainSportsMedia which owns SKi, Skiing and RIP Freeze... so Armada now owns McDonalds and Coke.

Transfers are... not your best option. I'd suggest Skogens in a 178 based on what you've said... but 172 moships isn't too shappy either. 770 seems like a lot, though. You could probably do better. Reactors are fine, their issues have been greatly exaggerated.

Here's some info:

rei.com has line skogens and pollards for like $280.

P12's are your best bet, line's don't have been over exaggerated. I still think ARV"s would fit you need perfectly, great end of season deals to.

Damn i must be an ass. I cant find any Line skis under rei.com. Thats where they have ARV , p12 and crl80 for 600 dollar ?

Just checked rei doesn't have Line's anymore.

Do this:

Armada ARV's 350

Look p12's 150

Lange FR 80 200?

Total $700 probably less

rei doesn't have armada's. Try proctorjones.com

Proctorjones' actual store has waaaaay lower prices than their website, they just don't advertise them. Call them up and ask them how cheap they can go. You'll get a good price... I believe they have ARVs.

Hi again. They have one pair of ARV`s left for 337 dollars. Will 175cm be to long for me ? since im 175 myself ? Kinda long for park riding ?

If your doing mostly park and some powder i'd say that's fine. I had some 185's that were exactly as tall as me. Since i was doing all park, I sold them.

Well....

Im checking out the prices for the Eric Pollard and Flite since thoses sizes would match my height better. Or is those 5cm nothing to worry about ?

Im scared it will feel to big and long while in the slope/park.

If your pretty much just doing lower spins, you should be fine.

Well so I mailed Proctorjones and said I wanted to buy a pair of ARV`s. But no their not returning my mails. Anyhow...Are there any other skis that can compare to the ARVs?

Seeing mothership flites and titaniums between 340-400 dollars. Are they worth it ? Which one should i go for ? Titaniums are stiffer or something ?

Thanks once again for helping me out
