Need Some new Park Planks.

About me. 5'10 155 lbs aggressive park rider 50/50 rails jumps, looking for the lightest, most durable cheapest ski out there. I want something that can handle 60 foot jumps and goes fairly fast.

I'm looking at some 2011 177 Volkl walls but i don't know if they will be too stiff for me or not. I could get those for 300 and have heard nothing but good things about them. My price limit is around 350 dollars and i want a ski that is going to last multiple 70 park day seasons.

Throw some ski names out there for me if you think they are better than the walls for me, thanks.

Light, Durable, Cheap ... Pick two

I'm afraid that's the reality ... your best bet is to buy high-end skis from previous years for a cheaper price, that's what I do. Wall's are stiff at your weight they may feel too stiff but it's hard to ski often a skis flex is personal preference; from what I've heard they're pretty durable so sound like you might have a good deal going on there

Theyre pretty durable, I mean when people bring skis in to get worked on Atomics, as a whole, always look the least beat up. They retail at $399 at our store too, but they are definitely our fastest selling park ski, which is why you probably can't find them

That was definitely a pair i was looking into but its 100 dollars less for the walls, I'm just worried that those are going to be like 2x4s for me i definitely want some flex but not a noodle like my disorderlys. And i want something that isn't hooky like your skis (fugitives?).

let me put it this way, I weigh 190lbs and I didn't like walls because they were too stiff, granted I do like softer skis, but I just didn't enjoy that ski. I skiied it up at nubs too

im 5'9" and 150ish and i ride 177 walls. they are definitely a stiff ski, but due to the lack of snow this winter I found myself hiking rails all winter and I actually enjoyed them on rails. I had no problems but i guess flex is personal choice.

I have disorderlys as well and have been looking at park skis that are just a tad stiffer. icelantic danolies felt nice, walls felt a bit stiff too me, I've been wanting to try the ace of spades too.

What is this years step up like stiffness wise compared to the disorderly? The disorderly was just a lil bit too noodly for me. I feel like the step up would be another good ski to look into.

Well Atomic and Armada are made in the same factory...

I havent liked any of Armada's stuff the past few years. not a fan of the capwall construction. I loved my 09 Pipecleaners though. hands down the best park ski I've owned

i heard they put thicker edges on the punx for next year. can you confirm?? I've heard they have issues with edge durability in past years.
