Need some new boots, suggestions?

I'm went from living in New Hampshire to living in Montreal at Mcgill University. I have great snow-stomping, winter hiking boots, but I don't have a pair of boots that work well for the slushy and shitty walking conditions when I'm out and about in the city. sorel boots. not the huge ones he but they make an equivelent of the ll bean bean boots. i have a pair and love them

as enticing as fulltilts sounds, i wouldn't want to shred the heel or toe piece walking around the city...
 
Great work boots. Ive had a pair 5 years and they're still good. Don't really think you'd need steel toe if your just looking for them to walk around in though.
 
i have very similar ones and they've held up great.
