So right now my touring setup is Billy Goats and Guardians. While it's a great setup, I've made up my mind that I want to get a lighter setup (I'm thinking Dynafits and Renegades).

My ideal setup would be to keep the BG's/Guardians for resort riding and slackcountry tours from the resort, and I would have the Dynafit/Renegade setup for longer tours.

However, my friend said he would be down to buy my Guardians, which would leave me with a pair of BG's that have already been mounted twice. I could either a) sell the BG's or b) mount them with some FKS 155's and have them for resort riding (which would mean I would NOT have an early season touring setup when the snowpack is scarce).

If I sold the BG's, I was also considering binding freedom/quiver killer inserts into the renegades for dynafit/fks holes so I could ski the Ren's inbounds and use them as my dedicated touring setup.

All in all, I'd like to hear your thoughts and possibly some suggestions. Trying to make up my mind as to what I want to do with my quiver. Thanks!

After reading K_M's posts in a renegade thread made a while back, getting inserts for dynafit/fks on them is what i think i'm wanting to do now. Selling the BG's would also help me out with the boot fund. only problem is i wouldn't want to tour on the renegades early season because of low snowpack...HALP.

Personally I would keep the BG's and put inserts into them for your Dynafits you'd be getting already, that way you have your early season touring setup. Then get the Rene's and insert them for both the Dynafit and FKS then you got your mid season touring setup but can also rock them inbounds. The only other thing I think would be to sell the BG's and just buy an entirely different setup for early season, probably something used to keep the cost down.
